Nice room, average hotel
We had an adjoining room with an interconnecting door for our family of four, which was a really good setup for us (two rooms with ensuites) The restaurant was nice and the food was well presented - but also expensive for Bali. The swimming pool was nice when it was open. The booking website photo makes it look a bit lovelier than the roadside hotel it is though...byo hairdryer if needed. Beach is an easyish 5/10 min walk
The pool was closed for half of our stay. There was no explanation/apology/acknowledgment about the breakdown, and noone could say if/when it would be fixed. We asked if we could stay in our room five hours later on our last day to make up for the five days without a pool and instead were given a price for a late checkout. Staff on the ground were friendly but they couldn't help and the manager wouldn't talk to us/wasn't available. Comms - we had tried to arrange a nearby/adjoining room before we arrived: via email and phone several times and to different locations, but got no reply. So we had our first night in different rooms. To sum it up, if management, training and communication were better (and they fixed leaks - this was rainy season) this would be a great place for the price you are paying - especially the family room.

Great pool entry rooms
For the price we paid for the 2 bedroom unit with pool access our stay was great. We stayed over the Nyepi period which affected staff and the skeleton staff provided did not understand basic requests. Breakfast wasn't included. Rooms and pool were not cleaned during the couple of days affected by Nyepi but again, the price we paid ( AUD $23 per night) we can't complain about fending for ourselves

Used as somewhere cheap to just stay at night, not a place to base a holiday around (ie motel room not a resort) . Was exactly what we required.
